1. Who we are

Ralyra ("we," "us," or "our") is a family operations platform designed to help working parents coordinate their daily schedules. We operate at ralyra.com. If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at [email protected].

2. Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly and information from connected services:

Account information

Your name and email address, obtained through Google Sign-In when you create an account.

Family and children information

Information you enter about your family, including children's names, ages, grades, and school schedules. This information is provided voluntarily and used solely to generate personalized daily plans.

Google Calendar data

When you connect your Google Calendar, we access your calendar events within a 30-day rolling window. We store event titles, times, and locations. We request read-only access and do not modify your calendar. You can revoke this access at any time through your Google account settings.

Daily observations

Notes, mood ratings, energy levels, and other observations you log about your children's day. These are used to inform the AI-generated evening debrief.

Work schedule preferences

Work schedule constraints you enter (e.g., days you cannot leave early), used to assign logistics in your daily plan.

City for weather

During onboarding and in your account settings, you can optionally enter the city where you live. We use this solely to include local weather context in your morning and evening briefings. Providing a city is optional — leaving it blank disables weather in your rallies. You can update or remove your city at any time from your account settings.

Usage data

Basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and pages visited, collected automatically for security and performance purposes.

3. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

• Generate personalized morning and evening family plans using AI
• Provide local weather context in your daily briefings using the city you provide
• Coordinate logistics between co-parents in the same family
• Send push notifications about confirmed plans and partner activity
• Sync and update your calendar events
• Maintain and improve the service
• Respond to your support requests

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data to train AI models.

4. AI processing

Ralyra uses Anthropic's Claude AI to generate daily plans. To do so, we send relevant context — including family member names, calendar events, and observations — to Anthropic's API. This data is processed under Anthropic's API privacy terms and is not used to train their models. We do not send your email address or Google OAuth tokens to Anthropic.

5. Information sharing

We share your information only in the following circumstances:

• With your co-parent: If you invite a partner to your family account, they will have access to the same plans, schedules, and observations you do.
• With service providers: We use third-party infrastructure providers (including DigitalOcean for hosting, Anthropic for AI, Google for authentication and calendar access, and Open-Meteo for weather data) who process data on our behalf under appropriate agreements.
• For legal reasons: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

6. Data storage and security

Your data is stored on servers located in the United States. We use encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest for sensitive credentials such as OAuth tokens. We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, but no system is completely secure.

7. Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Calendar events are stored within a 30-day rolling window and older events are not retained. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

8. Children's privacy (COPPA)

Ralyra is designed for use by parents and legal guardians ("parents"). We do not knowingly allow children to create accounts or use the Service directly. However, parents may enter information about their children in order to coordinate family logistics and generate daily briefings.

What information we collect about children

When a parent adds a child profile, we collect the child's first name, date of birth, grade level, and school name. Parents may also log daily observations about a child, which may include mood, energy level, homework completion status, and free-form notes. This information is provided voluntarily by the parent.

COPPA and children under 13

We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Before we collect or use observations for a child under 13, we require verifiable parental consent from the parent who created the account. Consent is obtained by sending a verification email to the parent's registered address. Observations for an under-13 child cannot be logged until consent is verified.

How children's information is used

Children's profile data and observations are used solely to generate your family's personalized morning and evening briefings. To produce these briefings, we send relevant context — including children's names, grade levels, and observations — to Anthropic's Claude API. This data is processed under Anthropic's API terms and is not used to train AI models. We do not share children's information with advertisers, data brokers, or any other third parties, and we do not use it to build a profile of your child.

Retention

Observations and child profile data are retained while your account is active. When you delete a child's observations or profile — or delete your family account entirely — that data is retained for up to 30 days to allow you to reverse the deletion and for us to investigate any related support or security issue. It is not permanently deleted until that 30-day period has passed. You may request deletion at any time through the parental data access dashboard.

Parental rights

As a parent, you have the right to:

• Review the information we have collected about your child
• Correct or update your child's profile in the children section of the app
• Download all data we hold about your child in machine-readable format
• Delete your child's observations or entire child profile
• Withdraw consent for future collection at any time

To exercise these rights, visit your parental data access dashboard in the app settings, or contact us directly.

Contact for COPPA requests

To submit a COPPA request, to ask questions about children's data, or to withdraw consent, contact us at [email protected] with the subject line "COPPA Request". We will respond within 30 days.

9. Your rights

You may at any time:

• Access or correct the information in your account through the app settings
• Disconnect your Google Calendar from your account settings
• Request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing us
• Revoke Google OAuth access via your Google account's security settings

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the effective date. Your continued use of Ralyra after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
